Creating a cPanel Account in WHM as a Reseller

Step 1: Log in to WHM

1. Log in to WHM (Web Host Manager) using your cPanel reseller username and password.

Step 2: Access "Create a New Account"

1. In the WHM dashboard, navigate to the Account Functions section

2. Click on Create a New Account to begin creating a new cPanel account.

Step 3: Enter Account Details

1. In the "Create a New Account" page, fill in the following details for the new cPanel account:

   • Domain: Enter the domain name for the account (e.g., example.com).
   • Username: Choose a unique username for the cPanel account.
   • Password: Set a secure password for the cPanel account.
   • Email: Provide the contact email address for the account.
   • Package: Select the hosting package you want to assign to this account. If needed, you can create a package first in the "Packages" section.

2. Click the Create button to create the cPanel account. Once created, you will receive a confirmation email with the account details which will be sent to the email set within the accounts details when you created it.

You can now share the cPanel account login details (username and password) with the client or user for them to access their cPanel.

Managing Existing Accounts (Optional)

As a reseller, you can manage and modify existing cPanel accounts from the "List Accounts" or "Modify an Account" section in WHM.

From there, you can update account settings, reset passwords, suspend or unsuspend accounts, and more.
