Creating a Hosting Package in cPanel WHM as a Reseller¶
When creating packages or plans within cPanel's WHM you have the option to customize several different factors/features. For instance, you could create Package A
which could have 20GB of storage while Package B
has 50GB, this is especially useful if you plan on creating tiers among different hosting plans for your users.
Step 1: Log in to WHM¶

Log in to WHM (Web Host Manager) using your cPanel reseller username and password.

Step 2: Access "Add a Package"¶

In the WHM dashboard, navigate to the
Packages
section. -
Click on
Add a Package
to create a new hosting package.
Step 3: Enter Package Details¶

In the
Add a Package
page, enter the following details for your hosting package:Package Name:
Enter a unique name for your package.Disk Quota:
Set the amount of disk space you want to allocate for this package.Monthly Bandwidth:
Specify the monthly bandwidth limit for the package.Max FTP Accounts:
Enter the maximum number of FTP accounts allowed for this package.Max Email Accounts:
Set the maximum number of email accounts that can be created.Max SQL Databases:
Specify the maximum number of databases allowed.Max Subdomains:
Set the maximum number of subdomains that can be created.Max Parked Domains:
Enter the maximum number of parked domains allowed.Max Addon Domains:
Specify the maximum number of addon domains that can be added.

You can also configure other options like cPanel theme, feature list, and more as per your requirements.

Click the "Add" button to save the new hosting package.
Step 4: Assigning Package to Accounts¶

To assign this package to a cPanel account, navigate to
Account Functions
>Create a New Account
section in WHM. -
When creating a new cPanel account or editing an existing one, you can choose this newly created package from the "Package" drop-down list.
Step 5: Managing Packages (Optional)¶

You can manage and modify existing hosting packages by going to the "Edit a Package" section in WHM.

From there, you can adjust the package settings, such as disk space, bandwidth, and other resource limits.
